How did it all begin?
Eleven years ago, the French Dubai Community was born out of necessity and the desire to connect francophone expats in Dubai. Our journey started humbly, with a small group that could accommodate just 50 members. At the time, we felt the challenges of relocation keenly and recognized the lack of available information for francophone expatriates. We decided to create a space where individuals like us could share experiences, seek advice, and navigate the intricate web of settling into a new country.
Our small group quickly became a hub of knowledge and support, and as demand surged, we migrated to Facebook. The response was overwhelming, and our community rapidly expanded, reaching over 30,000 members today. Our growth has been a testament to the need for a supportive community in the expatriate journey.
